Novella Calligaris is an Italian swimmer born in Trieste on September 12, 1998. She started swimming at the age of 5 and developed a passion for the sport that led her to become one of Italy's best swimmers.
Her specialty is freestyle and she has competed in many international competitions, including the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. He has also participated in many European and world championships and won numerous medals.

In 2018, she participated in the European Swimming Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, where she won the bronze medal in the 200-meter freestyle. She also set a new Italian record in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 1:56.69.
